This is what I tested, I Tried to put a tape in to see if it would work, unit powers on but doesn't pull the tape in to try to play, so the tape just hangs there.You can hear something inside the VCR when you initially power it on. Not sure what is wrong. This is sold as is, for parts only. This item does not function properly. This is for the VCR only.
