It was bought from a reputable dealer as a cake stand and although seemed a little large to me haveseen several since similar. Think the reality is it could be used as any of those thing; a versatile piece of kit. Antique I might have stretched the 100 year rule as I would have it circa 90-110. Think the green felt has been added afterwards but seems in keeping with the style. Could easily be stripped and cleaned if you want the real wood instead.
