Antique Writing Desk

Very Nice piece. has locking drawer with key, the twine you see in the picture is so the key doesn't get lost but it does work. Side legs fold in for stowage and will be folded in for shipping purposes. Someone added some brackets for stability, those will also be removed. Lower crossbar is missing some of the original screws and it is a little wobbly at this moment. Crossbar will be removed to fold in legs. Check Photos and if you have any questions feel free to ask, I'm not an expert on antique furniture and will do my best to answer. Thanks.

Here is a fantastic early slant front desk ! could be late 18th century or early part of the 1800s, veneer drawer fronts all drawers are beeded glue blocks are missing on the feet, there might be one inside the chest, there is wear marks old repairs etc throughout, on the lid there is molding missing around the top, again all hand dovetailed and looks like it probably has original ogee bracket feet as well, priced way less then what it would cost you to buy the wood to make it !
