Double headed lion coat rack wall mount 7 hook measures 43 inches at its widest point and about 17 inches tall, 3 inches off the wall. Minor crack through the front and missing something from the top other than that.Gets in pretty good shape.It is definitely in usable condition. I'm not really sure how old this is. Maybe 1880s. Fine Antique Thonet Oak Bentwood Round Umbrella/Cane Holder Stand
This fine antique authentic Thonet bentwood Oak umbrella / cane stand just came out of a fine Cape Cod home. It measures about 29" tall x 15.5" diameter at base and 16" diameter at the top. It has a wonderful original aged patina showing years of use. Tin base has loss to paint and light rust as shown. Please see photos for bentwood wear. We found a reference to a matching unit with the original Thonet label in our research.
Antique Art Nouveau Umbrella/Cane Stand
Beautiful and rare antique art nouveau brass umbrella/cane stand circa 1895, featuring high relief classical female figures. It is unmarked but most of these were made in France, Germany, Belgium and Austria. This substantial piece weighs 11 pounds and has a cylindrical form with a rolled rim and floral rosette border. It measuring 23” high with a diameter of 11.25” and has a rich original patina. It is in good antique condition for it age with a few dings at the bottom that actually aren’t that noticeable and definitely don’t detract from this striking piece.
