Rare, figural table lighter, good detail German Navy diver wearing a Draeger helmet. Figure measures 5 3/8" tall. Material is metal with a silver, gray, and black finish. Noted conditions: Non working/ flint wheel has no traction. Hinge as is/ helmet does not stay in. Base is not original to figure therefore the brand name on base is not the maker of this lighter. Figure is glued/not soldered on base. Figure was originally on an ashtray. Easy project for someone handy, if you want figure off of base, or on a different base or ashtray. Some cosmetic wear, and dust/soil. Seller has not cleaned/ polished, nor has made any repair. Great piece to add to your lighter or dive collection. Thank you for looking.

Vintage Lighter Royal Navy Divers Military MOD Enameled Insignia Polished Chrome
Vintage, windproof Zippo style TRISTAR high polish chrome lighter with detailed enameled metal Royal Navy (RN) Clearance Divers insignia. Military of Defense (MOD) approved by British naval forces. Original insert fits case as it should. Hinge is in working order and opens with a "click" sound and a "snap" when closed, just like any properly working Zippo lighter. Light hairline scratch, just above the left dolphin. Flint wheel has proper traction. Likely only needs fluid to work and keep a flame (?). Appears to have had little use, if any. 280 pages of way back when…. Yes this is the one. Next to impossible to find…. The magazine what had it all. Just filled with ideas that got us where we are !! Very good condition for its age Great write up on building a beginners diving outfit. The way so many did in the day. By the way i have many of the pumps and more coming that were used to compress the air for the diver. This issue is just incredible. So much good info. The 380 pages has just so much. This issue even shows how to build your own air pump :-). Enjoy. All page are here!! Careful. Many others have the pages missing
