1946 RAF Squadron Base Ensign. The ensign is light "Air Force" blue, with the Union Jack in the canton. The Royal Air Force roundel, concentric rings of red-white-blue, is sewn in the middle of the fly end.

1918 Australian Red Ensign, Australian Imperial Forces. All pieces are sewn together, not printed. The stars are appliqued to both sides of the ensign. By 1918, along with the rest of the British commanded Egyptian Expeditionary Force, they had occupied Lebanon and Syria, and on 30 October 1918, hostilities with the Ottoman Empire ceased, following the signing of the Armistice of Mudros.
