Antique Handmade 19th Century Italian Needle & Bobbin Lace 18.5 X 96 Inches.

This is a beautiful antique handmade textile lace that is over one hundred years old. I took it to a lace expert who dated it to the last part of the 19th century. She told me it was hand made and is created with a combination of needle and bobbin laces. It has one spot. See photos. It has numerous places that need repair. See photos. In today’s market antique handmade lace has become highly prized. Because of its rarity it is worth the time to have it repaired. It is 18.5 inches wide and 96 inches long. If you were to block the lace it would be a little wider and longer. I believe this is part of a set of drapes.
