Antique 1910s Edwardian (.925) Silver Nacre Shell Butterfly UK Bham Belt Buckle
The JR mark is most likely John Rose. Features vividly iridescent engraved nacre shell wings with naturalistic butterfly veining and eyespot details. Often described in the antiques trade as a nurse’s buckle, which refers to this style of large decorative two-part belt buckle worn at the waist, especially in the late Victorian and Edwardian periods.

The upper plateau of the clock bears the contemporary bright cut engraved monogram initials "MB". Date: 1905. Full hallmarks struck to the underside of the clock, in addition to the part hallmarks to the rim of the door and handpiece are all very clear.
