Antique Cut Glass Powder Jar w/ Ornate Sterling Silver Lid Vanity Jar
Antique cut glass powder / vanity jar featuring an ornate sterling silver lid with elegant repoussé scrollwork. The lid is finely detailed and bears an engraved monogram “MB,” adding period character and charm. The glass body is beautifully cut with crisp facets and a starburst pattern at the base, reflecting light nicely and showcasing quality craftsmanship. The sterling lid is hallmarked “Sterling” along with additional pattern numbers, consistent with late 19th century/early 20th-century vanity pieces. The glass is in excellent condition, without any chips, cracks, or repairs. The lid has a few minor dings and dents, but nothing highly noticeable. It measures about 3” in diameter, 2-7/8” tall, and the lid weighs 26.9 grams.
