I removed these smoke detectors from a fully functional system, I disassembled and cleaned the chamber of any dust, Note; Silent knight no longer makes these devices and if you have these type smokes in your building, you cannot replace with the new SK-Photo devices as your system used the SD portfolio and the new smokes use the SK portfolio (you cannot mix sk & sd devices on your panel I also have the SD500-PS & SD500-PSA pull boxes available as well Thanks for looking
