SonoFresco 1100 Fluid Bed Propane Coffee Roaster 1 lb Batch, 8 lb/hr Output

Sonofresco 1lb roaster. Was used as a small, home-based coffee roasting business. Works great with no issues. Comes with roasting chamber jar, chaff collector assembly, propane connector hose, measure can and instruction manual. The Chaff seal ($11) and Chaff screen ( $25) could stand to be replaced. These are easily ordered on Sonofresco.com. This roaster was manufactured in 2010. No ADR is installed on it, but can be purchased on Sonofresco's website for $450 if desired. This roaster served me well. Anyone familiar with Sonofresco knows these machines are built solid. Their customer service is also fantastic. Local pick up preferred or will ship UPS ground. Shipping weight is 80lbs give or take.

Used as found condition. Interesting machine appears to be complete or mostly complete. Please view photos. I have not tried the electric motor. So it will be sold as is untested. It is gas powered with a burner as well as an early electric motor. The motor name plate is hard to read but I think it is a singer manufacturing motor. I did not see any other name plates on this interesting machine. I collect and sell restaurant equipment and this has been with me for a few years now. It probably wouldn't take much to get this back into operation. I would estimate it to be around 100 years old circa 1900-1920. Please ask any questions before bidding. It is a unique piece and I have been trying to find another like it. I have not, but perhaps someone out there has!

This roaster is easy to roast on and simple to maintain. Stir arm and air flow levers were shortened to move roaster through narrow doorways. Last used in 2022.
