This is mount/ base for celestron 4se. It powers on then gives “no response 17”. It is missing the battery cover. The horizontal and vertical rotations works smooth when turning manually. There is a little corrosion in the battery compartment. Selling for parts or repair. Has light scuffs and some tape residue across the top of the controller.

Sold as Parts. Tested on several telescopes at 10vdc, a few times tested OK then 'motor unit fault'. Got it to slew when pressing GoTo and slew direction.

The DEC clutch and RA clutch work well, two Meade SPL26mm/15mmJapan eyepieces, original #492 controller, # 773 hard case, hex key, front/rear lens caps, horizontal viewer, table top tripod, no secondary mirror slip, the battery tray was corroded and I cleaned it and now passes current, I tested functions with batteries and transformer. Ready to use. This telescope is also being sold locally and this listing will be deleted if sold locally. The #497 controller shown in the pictures is not included with the purchase and was used for testing. The ETX-90 and Questar pics. are for comparison.
