Antique 1912 Wollensak Optical Seneca UNO Camera Shutter Lens Assembly

Seneca UNO lens and shutter assembly featuring a multi-blade aperture diaphragm and engraved shutter settings including TIME, BULB and INST; the unit carries patent dates and Mollensak Opt. Co. Rochester N.Y. embossing and has a black finished housing with silver-toned faceplates. Shutter fires but different modes all appear to do the same and just quickly fire it. One of the aperture blades appears stuck and the opening is more of a half circle rather than a full circle. Cannot get shutter to stay open to fully inspect lens but it appears fairly clean with no scratches or fungus, may be cloudy. Please see all photos, assembly is sold as is for parts or repair.

Antique 1901 Wollensak Gundlach Optical Brass Camera Shutter Lens Assembly

Antique Wollensak Gundlach brass large format camera shutter and lens assembly featuring a multi‑stop iris, a pneumatic bulb actuator and a cocking/trip lever; metal nameplates and multiple patent/date stamps are visible on the housing. This piece is suited for restoration, display, or use with compatible large format/field camera rigs. All aperture adjustments work great and transition smoothly. Shutter fires fine but is a but inconsistent and clicky, not sure that all speeds/modes work fully. Lens has a little bit of cloudyness but no scratches or fungus. Good condition overall, please see all photos.

The viewfinder incorporates a clear glass screen; a central micro prism ring is used for focusing. Correct exposure is obtained by matching needles. A battery indicator is also incorporated. Shutter speeds are from 1 sec to 1/2000 plus B.
