Vintage Bread Bakery Crown Flour Cook Chef Baker Advertising Celluloid Bookmark

Circa 1905 this is a beautifully graphic early celluloid bookmark advertising Crown Flour from Stockton, California. Crown was a prominent flour mill established in 1883 and was producing over 1000 barrels of flour daily. This early advertising piece was made by Whitehead & Hoag with a 1905 calendar on the back and a beautifully graphic image of a young baker holding two large loafs of bread on the front. The back is in excellent condition though there is some minimal wear to the front as well as a very small crack approximately 1/16ths of an inch to the left side of the bakers neck. Otherwise a beautiful rare piece of early celluloid advertising.
