Signed glossy b&w 4x6 photo of Panzer Ace Otto Carius and ?. He won the KC on 5/4/44, AND...the Oakleaves, on 7/27/44. Tiger Ace Otto Carius destroyed more than 150 tanks during his WWII career. From Wikipedia... Otto had been drafted twice before, but sent home as "Not fit for service at present underweight!". But in May 1940, Otto was finally drafted into the 104th Infantry Replacement Battalion. Following training, he volunteered for the Panzer Corps. Otto learned the fundamentals of tank warfare at Putlos in Holstein as a member of the 7th Panzer Replacement Battalion. His unit was integrated into the newly formed 21st Panzer Regiment and June 1941, was sent to East Prussia.

The stationary sleeve has a 1" ripe on the left-hand side and two very, very small worn portions that I personally repaired with archival tape which are not even noticeable.
