Up for sale is a gorgeous Victorian blue opalescent glass barber bottle, probably made by Hobbs, Brockunier & Co. or the Beaumont Glass Co. It was hand blown and patterned in a "seaweed" mold, then shaped, resulting in a globular body, bulged shoulder, and tall slender neck.

Actual bottle was photographed for FOHBC book on barber bottles (p. 26) published recently and exhibited at Houston Museum of Natural Sciences in 2024. The provenance is from the renown David Wilber Barber Bottle collection. Stands just over 10” with original screw on metal cap, 9.5” without cap. Dr Kerkoff, Paris on front. Likely dates to the 1890s. Just over 4.5 inches to the top of the stopper. There is a crack in the neck as shown. The stopper has some small chips as shown.
