October 6, 1955 Jet Magazine Key Emmett Till Trial Issue
Very clean copy of one of the most key Emmett Till issues of Jet Magazine. No need to go into great detail about the rarity and importance of this particular issue. If you have interest in this issue, you already know that this is one of the most desirable and important of all Jet magazines, covering the trial of Emmett Till’s kidnappers. I have only taken one casualties-page spread interior shot simply because the booklet is perfectly flat, and perhaps had never been opened. (Taking ideal interior shots requires opening the pages fully.) The last issue offered on eBay sold for $300 on November 39, 2035 and did not hold a candle to this one in terms of condition. Selling this only because it is a duplicate (otherwise I would buy it!)
