This fishing spear could also be from Oceania or Southeast Asia. I am not sure. The "Splitting" Design: The way the shaft splits into multiple prongs increases the surface area of the strike, making it much easier to hit fast-moving fish in shallow reefs or rivers compared to a single-point spear.

Personal finds from the Northwoods of Minnesota in Cass County. Early 1800's. Nice lot of fur trade era camp relics. The scissors are missing their hinge-pin and are just held together with a wire link, there is a partially legible mark present as well (see photo #8).
