Mid 1900s Set of (2) Handmade Hand-Painted Toy Doll Parfleche Trunks or Trinket Boxes. Lakota Sioux Indian Native American Parfleche Art. Hand-painted (green, blue, yellow, pink) and tied closed with Sinew Hide String and trimmed with blue cloth on each edge. Bought from a dealer named Frontier Plunder in Utah in 2006. Measurements: 2.5" x 2.5" x 4" Condition: These trunks are in great condition. They show some very minor wear and discoloration due to age. The painting is still very vibrant.
