Found in field spring 2025 in Southern Illinois. Thebes artifact. Has chip on ears but base and tip are perfect. Appears to have cortex on the chert still.

This blade is classified prehistoric. Based on the flaking it is from the archaic period in North America. It is between 4,000 and 6,000 years old and is in pristine condition. It is beautifully flaked and very thin in size. This is authentic and a great addition to a serious collection. I've seen many blades and this by far is the best that I have come across. This blade measures 3 1/2 x 3 1/2.
