Set of 7 Rare Joe Beeler Pewter Medallions. From a series of 27 different medallions made by artist Joe Beeler, commissioned by Arizona's Eddie Basha as Christmas gifts ca. 1975-2005. Joe Beeler (1931-2006), of Cherokee descent, was an award-winning painter and sculptor of cowboy and Indian life as lived in the late 1800s, who helped to found the prestigious Cowboy Artists of America organization. Each medallion is approximately 3" to 3.5" in diameter and depicts the bust of different Indian figures including those labeled Red Cloud, Plenty Coupes, and Chief Joseph, with Joe Beeler's name on the front and "from Eddie Basha" on the back. Listing price is for the whole set.
