I would call it in very good condition. You can see a couple stitches around his neck but other than that it’s really wonderful. It could possibly be Steiff, but I am not sure.

October 18, 1942 Ward Kimball signed invitation letter for the Southern Live Steamer's Annual Field Day at the Grizzly Flats Railroad in San Gabriel California. This letter marks the inaugural year for the railroad which operated from 1942 - 2006. The Grizzly Flats Railroad was the first such personal railroad in the United States, serving as direct inspiration for Walt Disney's own Carolwood Pacific Railroad and ultimately influencing the design of the Disneyland Railroad. This listing includes an original 8.5" X 11" hand signed invitation on Grizzly Flats Railroad letterhead. In addition, the original posted envelope postmarked October 6, 1942.
