Very interesting very early phone book for Corning Iowa. Dated 1905. Has instructions on how to make a call. Phone numbers start at number 1. The highest I see is 200. . A couple exchanges are marked out and a couple are marked as coming. Good history of the day as to who was living in the area. Good for Family Tree research. Not often seen.

Highlights - Emerson, Thoreau, Alcott, US Revolution battle. Condition is fairly good - not faded, corners bumped, tiny edge tears at top on cover and some inner pages, some chipping on the binding edge, fairly clean, some yellowing.
