1960s Vintage Iraqi 3-Star Flag Wool Applique Double Sided 37x69"

This is a large, high-quality vintage Iraqi flag from the Ba'ath era, circa 1960s. It features the three-star design used by Iraq from 1963 until 1991, when Saddam Hussein added Arabic script between the stars. The flag is constructed of wool bunting with the red, white, and black stripes sewn together as separate fabric panels. The three green stars are double-sided appliqué — cut and overlock-stitched onto both faces — a mark of professional flag-making quality. The white canvas hoist with double-needle stitching is consistent with commercial flag manufacturers of the era. Measures 37 x 69 inches. Overall good to very good condition with expected age wear, light soiling to the white panel, and minor fraying at the fly end. #0181
