Taken in 1948 at the Narragansett Hotel, it depicts testimonial dinner for the appointment of a new Police Chief for the city. The photo measures 9 x 18.5 inches. It is on a thick cardboard. Fading strongest on left side. Wear commensurate to age, perhaps including dings, nicks, fraying, fading, age stains, old book smell, etc. May have been printed after 1948… it is old but not necessarily 1940s old.
