The Metropolitan City of London Police Reserve Whistle w/ Chain 1911-1919 WW1

It has the word “Patent” but no patent number. I think it is made from nickel plated brass and has the original brass chain with hook.

Circa 1900 J. Hudson Whistle - Tested and Works

This J. Hudson whistle is what is called a general service whistle in that it wasn't sold to a police department. The fact that it has the words "The Metropolitan" and "Patent" on it dates it from between 1883 and 1922. Note the concave loop, which also means it is quite old. In very good condition with just one small area where the nickel plating is missing.

Small Brass Slide Whistle - Little Orphan Annie's Dog Sandy - Circa 1940

This small slide whistle was a premium offered by Ovaltine in 1940 for the show they sponsored, Little Orphan Annie The dog's head on it is her dog Sandy. It was billed as a 3-way mystery whistle. Closed it was a silent dog whistle. Open it was a "G-man" whistle. Or you could use it to make bird sounds. Works pretty well.
