I have included screen shots of some information about the history of E.J Jahn Co. and the connection between the two companies. It measures approximately 3–7/16” long x 1-7/8” wide and 3/4” thick. The original Burke sharpener with the new unused lower assembly. The lower shaft assembly (will need to be installed by buyer) has four paper wheels mounted on a shaft running on sealed ball bearings. The wheels are shaped with sandpaper while the unit is running, then charged with a buffing compound. They are used for honing the insides of small U-Gouges and V- tools. Wheel speed on both tiers is 430rpm. Size 26'' wide x 12" deep x 18" high. Will pack and ship with FedEx. May need 2 boxes.

Greetings sharpening stone users and collectors ! For your consideration is a Norton Abrasives No. 1 Washita oilstone. This stone is in great condition and doesn’t look like it’s had much use. By rights it SHOULD BE black and covered in years of oil and carbon. 😎 It measures approximately 7-7/8” long x 1-7/8” wide and is still glued into its original wood holder / case . A little reading at the badger and blade forum reveals that Norton used this type of label from approximately 1935 to 1949. That would mean this stone was cut and packaged at least 77 years ago. Please look closely at the attached images ! They are an important part of the description and help provide a good idea as to the condition of this item.
