Lot of 7 Large Knives and 1 Small Knife
This is a lot of 7 large knives and 1 small knife which is paired with a large knife on 1 sheath. All blades vary from 7-9 inches long with knives varying from 12 to 14 inches in length with the exception of the small knife which has a blade length of 4 1/2 inches and a knife length of 8 inches. The lot includes a k-bar style survival knife, an 1821 inscribed Greek dagger, bowie knives, and a Barcelona Queen knife. One survival knife does not have a sharpening stone, and one snap on the strap to hold the knife in place on one of the knives is broken. Other than that, all are in very nice condition. Jeff was the winner of the famous, "Forged in Fire" television series, season 6, episode 18, Messer Sword Champion. This knife is one of his earlier custom pieces and is very well made and solid, with some nice details and a sweet blade. Beautiful, dyed & stabilized, Maple Burl scales, hand-forged, hardened and tempered D2 tool steel, hand ground and honed to a very sharp edge. Custom file work on the spine that really stands out. Great blade and a very nice, custom-made leather sheath. Jeff's maker's mark on the blade. Nice and mint. 8.5'' OAL, 4'' blade w/ ricasso, handle w/ integrated guard is 4.5''.
