This is an original WWII Kinfolks V44 (3rd copy variant of the Collin’s 18 machete). This knife is in original condition (used) with no sheath. Brass bar bell guard is original, rivets and handle (Bakelite) is original with no cracking or repairs and blade has original clip point Bowie. As for condition considering age I’d rate this 7.5/10. Blade has very light surface scaling that if taken of with proper techniques can bring this knife to a 9.5/10. Great find, with real history that is very well taken care of. Again, if you know about the history with this knife and its variants from the Army to the second Marines Raider Battalion, you will be very happy to have this in your collection!
