WWII Pattern 1907 Australian Lithgow Rifle Bayonet Knife + Scabbard Rgt Markings
WWII Pattern 1907 Australian Bayonet made by Lithgow Arsenal along with a Lithgow Sheath. Measures 21.75" overall with a 16.75" blade. Shows an old sharpening on blade edge, along with a brown age patina on pommel guard, and some on the blade. Has not been cleaned. March 1942 markings on ricasso along with left grip showing a "SLAZ 42" stamp. The throat piece shows regimental markings, "MD14675" along with the pommel side "C13274". Excellent working press-stud. Sheath shows a age patina, wear, no holes or damage. The sheath metal ends have early Lithgow stamps, a star with a "A" stamped inside it. See photos for details.
