WWII ENGINEER - Huge Document Collection - TRAINING, MAPS, AERIAL PHOTOS, PAY

This is a huge collection of papers from the estate of a WWII Engineer. Included are extensive paperwork from his training at Fort Belvoir, including all sorts of texts, technical notes, exams, grade cards, and a camp newspaper; and a variety of other papers from his experiences. They are in mostly aged and worn, but readable, condition, as shown. Please see the pictures for a visual description--what you see is what you get!

WWII Map 4th Armored Division D-Day Invasion to Bastogne 1945 Original framed

Original map brought back from Germany by my dad in 1945 and framed with a glass cover. Father fought with Rolling Fourth all the way across Europe. Oh the stories he told me. This map shows the routes taken by Patton’s Third Army and the Fourth Armored Division and shows where all the major battles were fought as well as the dates for the battles. This is in excellent condition for the age but showing slight moisture stains at bottom left. My camera lens has a crack that shows up in the pictures. Map is not harmed. I consider it museum quality. Would prefer local pickup .

Light overall toning and edge wear consistent with wartime paper. A few small tears at fold intersections (clearly shown in photos). No tape repairs. Map remains complete, intact, and fully legible. Back is blank. A scarce original wartime newspaper-issued map—much less common than later reproductions, especially offered fully opened and photographed.
