Offered for sale is a beautiful hash plate that offers a snapshot in time of the sea floor during the late Ordovician. This piece was recently collected out of the Kope Formation in Wilder, Kentucky. This plate weighs a little over 3 pounds and measures 5 3/4” by 5” by 1 1/4”. It contains pieces of the following 3 trilobites: Cryptolithus, Flexicalymene and Isotelus. It also contains crinoid discs, bryozoans and brachiopods. This would make a great display piece or as a teaching piece to show what life looked like in the Ordovician. HP- 001
