It is marked "KOTTENHOFF MADE IN GERMANY" in the middle of the blade. Condition is good, with what appear to be the original grinding marks on both sides of the blade. If you sight down the edge of the blade, as shown in the last picture, the blade is straight and not bowed concave or convex.

The leather straps used to secure the sheath are intact . Marked '10'. Overall length is 17-3)4" at the handle base. There is a name stamped on it (see pic) but I can't quite make it out completely.
