My Great Grandfather had an automotive shop where he worked on Ford, Chevrolet, Overland, Buick, REO, and GMC from the 1910’s thru 1930’s. He passed in 1939 and his shop supply remained untouched. My grandfather and father had no interest in the shop. So everything sat there until now. I've now inherited the shop and am moving things along. This is an original Romort Style A air hose fitting with a patent of Aug 6 1912. It’s brass. I used a fine brass wheel on a Dremel tool to remove enough paint to read the stamping. Feel free to ask questions. The photo of the catalog advertising is from the Pittsburgh Automotive Supply (1920)

Original Beautiful Fry Mae West Buckeye 1-1/4 Brass Visible Gas Pump Gate Valve

Nice original 1-1/4 Buckeye brass gas pump gate valve. The style was most commonly seen on the Fry Mae West, but could be used on most visible gas pumps. Everything is original other than the black reducer which could be unscrewed from the front. This gate valve has the optional tab which allows you to lock the valve handle when the station was closed at night. The valve handle is still locked on by an old brass master lock as seen (I don’t have the key). Excellent condition with no splits or cracks. Threads are good. Beautiful piece ready to be installed on your Fry, or cleaned up for your restoration project. It will be packed safely and with care and ships for free to the USA. Thanks
