Hand written on the paper "not good for rust" covered the shipper in case of a complaint on the receiving end. In very clean condition.

1857 ANTIQUE LIST OF PROVISIONS OCMULGEE RIVER GEORGIA STEAMBOAT ISAAC SCOTT

4 1/2" by 6 3/4" light blue paper dated 1857. It is a handwritten list of provisions purchased for the crew of the steamboat ISAAC SCOTT from a grocer (or possibly a butcher) named L B Rodgers. Purchases were made over months and included beef, pork and mouton (mutton). Payment was received and the receipt is signed in acknowledgement of payment. The ISAAC SCOTT traveled up and down the Ocmulgee carrying goods up from Savannah and crops like cotton back down river to the port of Savannah.

The condition is excellent with no damage of any kind. Printing on the bottom reads: C. Syracuse China U.S. A. 20. This is a very hard to find dish espicall in this condition.
