Boston And Maine Railroad Brass Top Bell Bottom Lantern. With Cast Globe.

Look at photos closely. Small inside chip at the bottom of the globe from use. The wick needs t be replaced if you’re going to light the lantern. I never did. I will include the short wick. Sold as is.

DIMENSIONS: Item is 3 1/4" tall and 3 1/4" wide.across each opening (outer part of rim). EAPG and pattern glass can exhibit frit or debris , bubbles, cooling or anealling lines. Roughness on some of the edges is common and usually happens during the manufacturing process. Items are over 100 years old and will show evidence of wear on the base. Antique DIETZ PIONEER Street Lamp Tubular OIL METAL LANTERN LIGHT w/ Globe. Came from a local estate. Looks like it may be a No. 3 but it is NOT marked other than “Pioneer”. Someone repainted it in the past. Wick does go up and down and it looks like it should be in working condition however it is UNTESTED by me. Includes the original glass globe Measures 25” tall and the top is 13” round. Globe is 11” tall. Globe has no cracks. Some minor surface rust on the lamp but its in pretty good shape. I didnt do anything to clean it up. The one arm has a small dent as seen in the last pic. Comes as seen, free shipping to LOWER 48 STATES ONLY C-2

Rayo Cold Blast model 92 kerosene lantern

This is a nice old Rayo cold blast model 92 kerosene lantern. Probably made in the 1920s. Has a Dietz "fitz all" glass globe. Over all in great shape, holds fuel and fires up. Wick moves up and down freely. Has surface rust from age but nothing eaten into. I've enjoyed lighting it up sometimes in the evening and wondering what it would have been like in the old days when they were your only source of light at night.
