The whistle is untested. The hose appears to be in good condition. No dry rotting or cracks. The hard rubber surface is dented in several spots. The hose is 6ft long. It weighs 8lb 12oz.

Nathan Airchime Mixed Cast P3 Train Horn ex-Southern Pacific/SP

Up for sale is this interesting mixed cast Nathan P3. It consists of a new cast #1 bell, and ghost oval old cast #2 and #4 bells. All three bells have old cast double Nathan back caps. It is ex-Southern Pacific and is in original railroad paint. One bolt is missing from the #2 back cap. The #2 and #4 manifold-to-bell bolts and nuts are tack-welded together. I am not sure whether this was done by a prior owner or the railroad. The horn is in good shape and all three bells work well. I recently cleaned out all three power chambers.
