THIS RAZOR WAS LIGHTLY SANITZED WITH ALCOLHOL AND A LIGHT COAT OF MINERAL OIL WAS APPLIED. BLADE IS SHARP, CLOSE TO SHAVE READY.

Antique Hand Painted Occupational Shaving Mug personalized carpenter w/his lathe

Antique porcelain shaving mug that features a hand painted action scene of the mugs owner, N. Widmann, working his lathe, scraps of shaved material falling to the floor. A side profile portrait of Widmann on this customized mug, in great antique condition. You can see where some the the gold scrollwork detail has worn from use. I found one small dark “dot” on the inside as shown in the pics, but it looks more of a spot in the porcelain, and not damage. There is some pitting of the porcelain bottom but there is no other damage, no chips, no cracks. Just wear that you would anticipate with the age and use of this type of antique. Great gift for any machinist, carpenter, or woodworker.

The top cap has a nice shine with light a blemishes, a few tiny brass tinting spots, and smudges. The butterfly doors operate properly and smoothly. The TTO has a hard stick when you twist it, but still engages the butterfly doors correctly.

Up for sale are these two Gillette adjustable Fat Boy safety razors a 1959 E-4 on the left in the pictures and a 1961 G-3 on the right. Both razors are in good working order with just light wear to the nickel plated finish from being used.

This is a vintage straight razor from the early 1900's it was marketed by Westor Bros. of New York it is a # 34 Razor From Solinger Germany. The Razor Box is included which all things considered is in pretty good shape, a leather earring case is also included it is well worn and the zipper is coming apart but it's all there. The blade I believe will clean up nicely & the handle is quite attractive.
