Compaq Presario 4704 MT Intel Pentium 133MHz 40MB RAM No HDD No OS Bad CMOS
This computer has a dead CMOS battery that is difficult to replace. It needs to be desoldered from the board and swapped out in order to be fully replaced. I could not get into the BIOS settings for this machine due to the dead CMOS. The configuration that turned on also would not save. This means unless the HDD you have just so happens to be the default configuration, you won't be able to get this computer to use it until the CMOS battery is swapped out. The floppy drive and CD drives work and were tested, along with the video card.
