This listing is for a vintage oval yellow tin double handled lidded sewing tin. We don't know who makes this lovely piece, but it hails from the 1960’s. It features a Victorian New York City Washington Square Park theme. The lid depicts a charming large scene of a man and lady strolling through the park. The sides depict vignettes of scenes from the park and the words “Washington Square” and “Old New York.” It has two yellow tin swing handles. It measures approximately 4” H (excluding handles), 8” H (including handles) x 11” W x 8.5” D. Condition: Used condition with minor scratches, paint loss and some oxidation. The metal objects are for the photo and are not included in the sale. If you are a sewer, craft person, handyperson, or need a nice looking holder for your desk top to hold paper clips, this would be great! The cover twists on, so it is secure.
