VINTAGE Infant White Lace & Satin Jacket & Bonnet

This vintage c. 1950 infant / toddler bonnet with jacket is handmade and constructed of sheer fabric with a lacy pattern, lined with satin, and trimmed with lace. The jacket is open with a ribbon to tie close at the neckline. The bonnet is a traditional shape with satin ribbon to tie under the chin with an opening in the back. Delicate and gently used, it is not as white as it once was, but not considered "yellowed." 12-inch length of frame of bonnet around face; 9-inch from middle of back to end of sleeve (on each sleeve); 11-inches long from shoulders down. A very sweet piece. Good for a Christening or fancy event.

The embroidery is charming and all the buttons and ribbons are in place. Excellent condition - all we found was a very small light brown spot on the slip - please see third photo. The dress measures 24 1/4" long from the shoulder to the hem, and it is 8" across the tops of the shoulders. We ship within 24 hours of payment and appreciate reasonable offers.
