Stihl MS400C powerhead for parts or repair. Chainsaw would start then turn off shortly after. After inspecting the cylinder we found a small nick near the front port window that caused the piston to scratch. That is the only defect on the cylinder. Nothing else that you could feel on a nail. Sending piston as a reference for part. Should be a complete chainsaw ( choke rod is not pictured but will be included. Please see pictures for condition.

STIHL 10mm 044 slant fin turns over Parts Or Repair Missing Parts
Saw was a trade in that looks like it was used for parts. Piston is scored. Missing, starter assembly, sprocket components, clutch cover, bar nuts, muffler cover and hardware. Saw has a MS440 tank on it. Two starter recoil bolts are stripped the top left and bottom right. Brake handle has a crack. This is only a quick look over and more could be missing/broken.
