Extremely rare authentic vintage headband Circa 1916-1920 Made of firm leather thread with gold metallic streaks Beaded and jeweled with glass sequins/paste rhinestones and pink plastics On top there is a sleek spun celluloid plume It fits very nice, you can attach it with ribbon or hair pins (not included) It measures approximately 11.5" x 2.5", the "plume" part is 3" high It is a breathtaking piece of early 20th century fashion and extremely hard to find This type of headdress was inspired by the Ballets Russes which first introduced daring costumes and headbands in The Rite of Spring in 1913 Condition: very good wearable, some stones are missing, see pictures
