Antique Victorian era mourning locket. Looks to be thermoplastic gutta percha. There is a small tintype photo of a man, housed behind glass. The brass rim holding it in place is a little tarnished, and the glass is scratched and scuffed. On the opposite side, there may have originally been a piece of hair work, but it is empty now. Case is a little scuffed in spots, but is still in good working order, opening and closing as it should. Measures approximately 2“ x 1.25“. Sold as it is. Please ask questions if you have them.
