This is an American Waltham Watch Company pocket watch. It is 18 size with 11 jewels. The movement serial number is 1,519,169 witch dates the watch to 1881. The watch is in running condition, but I would recommend having a watchmaker clean, oil, and service it (All old antique watches would benefit from this service). The heavy Sterling case is worn and shows scratches. The crown may need a small repair as it seems a bit loose, but works fine. It has a thick glass crystal which is in excellent condition.
