-Currently being completed by Kurt Tanner Motorcars and ready soon is this really excellent 3000 MK III in it's factory original Austin Healey color of Metallic Golden Beige with Red leather trim. Only 553 cars were produced in this special color. This car was purchased by us recently here in California from only it's second owner where it had been off the road since the mid 1980's, and has been the subject of a total cosmetic and partial mechanical restoration. -Details of the restoration include a complete stripdown of all chromework, glass, top, interior, trunk, to the bare rolling bodyshell. The car was then aggressively steam cleaned/power washed in, out, and under. The chassis interior was lightly sandblasted.

Overall, very solid undercarriage, just one little area of rust as you can see in the photos. The original interior is all there but showing its age, but still in good usable condition, including soft top. Mechanically the car runs and drives, have some oil leaks, a matching numbers car. Ould use a mechanical service before you make to daily driv.
