1987 Dodge Shadow Shelby CSX
This is 1 of 750 Dodge Shelby (Shadow) CSXs Produced By Carrol Shelby at the request of Chrysler Corporation back in the 80's and early 90's. This one is #503. This was Americas Turbo Charged answer to all the pocket rocket cars coming out of Europe and Asia! It held its own very admirably and in fact could be prove itself to be quite the adversary against the Foxbody Mustang and the third generation V8 Camaro. Many a stoplight race was lost to these cars. A legitimate 135mph top speed was nothing to sneeze at either! These were solely Modified and Certified by Shelby American Corporation in Whittier California. ( see plaque on radiator crossmember and hood decals for emissions, etc.
