The third gen Toronado, (1979-1985), were downsized from the previous iteration, losing an incredible 1,000 pounds and 16 inches in length. Exterior In profile, the car could be mistaken for any General Motors E-body of the time, (Eldorado and Riviera), but a look at the front reveals a unique fascia that includes a broad, body colored crown over a narrow grille flanked by dual headlights.
