1965 Sunbeam Mark 1A
Vehicle Original VIN : B382000991 Fantastic California Tiger in excellent condition. Long-term ownership. Rebuilt 289 cubic inch V8. Many upgrades, including LAT Super Induction Kit, cam, distributor, aluminum heads, and more. A super clean Tiger that runs superbly! This car was originally sold in Los Angeles, CA in 1966 and remained there until 1999 when the most recent owner brought it to Ohio. As a result, it is extremely clean and solid, something that can't be said of most Tigers, and while it has been restored as needed, it has never needed a complete tear-down.

1967 Sunbeam
Sunbeam Alpine, The Story- The Sunbeam Alpine was introduced in 1959 and five generations of cars were produced. The final version, offered in 1964, was known as the Series V and featured a new 1725-cc engine and many other mechanical enhancements. Sunbeam produced over 19,000 Series V Alpines from 1964 through 1967, when Alpine production ceased. The Series V Alpine was also the basis for the much-heralded Sunbeam Tiger, a Ford V8 powered beast.

1966 Sunbeam Mk1a
1966 Sunbeam Tiger Mk1a The Cobra is the most famous English sports car with an American V8 up front, but at the same time Shelby was building them, there was another V8-powered roadster that was co-developed with Carroll Shelby. The Sunbeam Tiger took one of the smallest British sports cars of the time - the Sunbeam Alpine - and shoehorned Ford's 260ci V8 where the 1.5-liter inline-4 used to sit, making for a thrilling drive behind the wheel. This 1966 Sunbeam Tiger Mk1a is from the second-to-last year of Tiger production and is finished in red over a black vinyl interior. Believed to be a three owner car from new, this Tiger benefits from a restoration that was carried out by all three owners, and recently completed by the consignor.

1965 Sunbeam
Welcome to Street Dreams as we celebrate our 26th year in the classic and muscle car business. The Sunbeam Tiger was a high-performance version of the British Rootes Group's Sunbeam Alpine roadster, a sweet 4-cylinder sports car whose competition included MGs and Alfas. U.S. West Coast sales manager Ian Garrad settled on Ford's 260 V8 as a good fit that would lift the Tiger into performance car territory. Sunbeam asked THE Carroll Shelby to produce a functional prototype and the rest, as they say, is history. Glorious but short lived, the Tiger's production ceased in 1967 when Rootes was purchased by Chrysler, who obviously wasn't going to sell a car with a Ford engine. This magnificent British Racing Green (86) 1965 Sunbeam Tiger Mark 1A is an outstanding example of these historically important and rare machines.
