For sale is the second of 3 nice 1 Conn 80A Bb Cornets that i acquired recently. This one dates by its serial number C31150 as having been produced in 1963. The first one sold in less than hour. Horn is custom finished in Brass & Silver. Horn is is good cosmetic condition with some dings and dents especially on the main bow as shown. It is repairable however. Its in excellent playing condition with all valves and slides working as they should including the unique vertical tuning wheel slide. It has that nice full sound only a vintage conn can produce.

This is a nice looking and excellent functioning cornet that has been reconditioned to ensure total reliability throughout its daily use for years to come. As with most pre-owned instruments, it does contain an assortment of dings, scratches and finish loss consistent with student use. This cornet has been ultrasonically cleaned and flushed and all worn valve guides, stem felts, top cap felts, valve springs and water key corks have been replaced. All tuning slides were polished clean and received new grease, and all three valves are oiled and responsive. All braces are tight and secure.
