Very Old Accordion Maugein Freres Museum Piece
Maugein is a French manufacturing companyaccordions founded in 1919 To Tulle by the brothers Jean, Antoine and Robert Maugein. The company had up to 200 employees. It runs today with 20 people who manufacture 600 accordions a year for a turnover of 1.2 million euros. She has provided high-end instruments to bands such as Indochina, Blankass, The Primitives of the Future. The current manager, René Lachèze, great-grand-nephew of one of the founders, wishing to retire, it is envisaged, in 2012, that the company be taken over by the employees, who would then control 40% of the capital of a cooperative society of collective interest1. On Friday December 6, 2013, Maugein was placed in legal redress speak the Commercial Court of Brive, with continuation of the activity.
